First Tasting Of New Bottling From Decadent Drinks!

Our lanyard sponsor Decadent Drinks also has an exclusive first taste for us all this weekend:

“A New Chapter in our Decadent Story…

We’ve been working quietly on something a little different. A new creation in the Decadent family, rougher round the edges, louder in spirit, and born of Highland grit. It’s a whisky with mud on its boots and laughter in its lungs.

Born from the same obsession with flavour and storytelling that runs through everything we do, but this one’s got its own attitude. It doesn’t polish out the rough bits, it celebrates them. Loud, bright, and full of life.
Before the rest of the world sees it, it will pour for the first time at Hampden.

Seventeen years in sherrywood, built for hilltops, hip flasks, and firesides.

We’ll leave the introductions for Hampden. It deserves its moment.”

Glasgow Distillery Co. to launch new bottling at Glasgow’s Whisky Festival 2025!

We’re looking forward to trying the brand new release from The Glasgow Distillery Co. as their Glasgow 1770 Bourbon Cask Matured has its debut at the festival!

Bottled as their oldest age statement core range product yet, this 8 year old Bourbon Cask is a marriage of their double distilled unpeated and double distilled peated whisky. By using only bourbon matured single malt, we’re expecting lots of fruity tropical notes that sit at the heart of their double distilled whisky styles.

Make sure to stop by their stands taking up the full end of the Nevis Suite!

2025 Lanyard Sponsor Announcement!

We are delighted that once again this year we will be giving every visitor a glass lanyard with their glass, handy for freeing up both hands to write those tasty tasting notes!

This has been made possible this year by the generosity of our lanyard sponsor Decadent Drinks. If you’re new to this amazing indie bottler go and check them out and make sure to visit their stand across from our own festival shop on November the 8th!

2025 Glass Sponsor Announcement!

📢 We are very, very pleased to announce that local legends The Glasgow Distillery Co. are our Glass Sponsor for 2025 and will be taking over their usual end of the Nevis Suite (the one on the right as you come in) this November at Hampden Park!

🎉 They also have some celebrating to do with us all as they mark 10 years of making whisky in our fair city. We’re sure they will have a few surprises up their sleeves and we might spill the beans on some before the big day but you will need to pay them a visit on the 8th of November if you don’t want to miss out.

🥃 Remember as well as whisky they create lots of other tasty spirits such as gin and rum so they should have something for everyone.
